2020 ROX NEVADA - XPEDITION AMERICA

Hello All,

Thanks for joining and sharing in the love of exploring the wild.  We will have a traditional Overland adventure where we cover many miles everyday and seeing lots of amazing sites along the way.  The start will be us meeting in the North West Corner of Nevada Saturday night 09/26 and leaving out as a group at 0830 Sunday morning.  I will have a full trip plan for you to reference so you are informed on all things to the route and safety of the group.  If this is your first time on a traditional Overland trip, we do alot of driving.

A normal driving day for us is 0830 until about dark in the evening. We of course stop for breaks every hour and at different sites along the way.  I just like to be clear, we will not be spending the day in camp during the trip.  Along the route, we will have fuel stops where you will get a chance to refuel and get items from the gas station.  With that being said, you should bring enough food and water to complete the 8 days.  I will send out a suggested gearlist, this will help you be more comfortable on the trip. 

We will continue on dirt the entire route ending with us arriving in Las Vegas, NV as a group.  I look forward to seeing you and meeting others for the first time. 

Vehicle Requirements:

- 4x4 drive (Offroad tires)

- Full size spare

- 10 gals extra fuel

- Food / Drinks / Water for the duration of the trip (Gas stations only for resupply)

- Basic First Aid kit and personal meds

- Camping gear for cooking and sleeping

- Both cold and warm weather clothes
